How to Handle Waste and Watering in Woodlake
Watering Days Schedule
-
Water conservation is essential in Woodlake, and residents are encouraged to follow the city’s watering schedule to help preserve this vital resource. During the winter months of January, February, and December, no outdoor watering is permitted for any residents.
In the transition months of March, April, and November, watering is limited to once a week: even-numbered addresses may water on Sundays, and odd-numbered addresses on Saturdays, only before 8 a.m. or after 6 p.m.
For the hotter months of May through October, the schedule allows for twice-weekly watering. Even-numbered addresses may water on Wednesdays and Sundays, while odd-numbered addresses may water on Tuesdays and Saturdays, again restricted to early morning or evening hours. By adhering to these guidelines, Woodlake residents can play a vital role in conserving water and maintaining a sustainable community.
Disposal Days Schedule
-
Hillside Estates Community Disposal Day: Fridays
Woodlake’s disposal services ensure efficient waste collection for both residential and commercial areas. Residential collection runs from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and all containers must be placed curbside by 6:00 a.m. To help drivers provide smooth service, residents should set carts at least three feet apart, ensure lids are closed, and avoid blocking access with parked vehicles. Commercial and industrial bins are serviced from 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with all containers needing clear access and closed lids.
Disposal services observe Labor Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. If these holidays fall on a weekday, collection will be delayed by one day for the remainder of the week. Following these guidelines helps keep Woodlake clean and ensures reliable service for all.
