Yosemite

 

Yosemite National Park is home to many cascading waterfalls. If you love photography, you will not want to miss taking a picture of the shiny waters flowing calmly down the rocks. A picture is worth a thousand words, right? Well, these waterfalls will leave you breathless. As well as the waterfalls, Yosemite is home to 210 scenic trails. From easy to hard hikes, we have listed 3 to check out:

Easy Trail:
Lower Yosemite Falls - 24 Mins/ 1.2 Miles,

Moderate Trail:
Lower Chilnualna Falls - 26 Mins/ 0.6 Miles,

Hard Trail:
Vernal, Nevada, and Illiloutte Falls Routes - 12.7 Miles/ 7H 32 Mins

Joshua Tree

 

Joshua Tree National Park is home to the most lovely, warm, and captivating sunrises and sunsets. With a vast desert land filled with cacti, boulders, and funny-looking trees, Joshua Tree offers hiking, rock climbing, and camping activities. If you want to check out their uniquely deformed boulders, check out Skull Rock; for the prickly Cactus, check out their Cholla Cactus Garden; and for a scenic view, visit Keys View, where you will be able to see Palm Springs, and Signal Mountain in Mexico.

Muir Woods

 

Muir Woods National Monument, as the name says, Muir was named after the naturalist John Muir who stated that this would be the best place for tree-lovers to experience the best trees in the world. The 558-acre monument preserves the last of the redwoods, some which are as nearly as 1,000 years old. If you find yourself in the area make sure you grab your hiking shoes and check out these 3 trails we have listed for you.

Easy Trail:
Muir Woods Fern Creek Loop - 25 mins/ 1.3 Miles miles

Moderate Trail:
Bootjack Trail Loop - 3H/ 6.3 Miles

Hard Trail:
Muir Woods To Mount Tamalpais - 5H 39Mins/ 10.5 Miles
